Kid Summer Camp

EscapeWithCharacter is a five week, full day (8:00AM-5:00PM), K-8 Summer Camp Program located in Shoreline, WA whose mission is to center children’s lives around relationships, community, service, and purpose.  Kids who are rising Kindergarten to 8th grade are divided by age groups and will have a blast playing games like kickball and soccer; competing on team challenges in escape rooms, obstacle courses, and food preparation; there will be time for collective and individual art; and we will plan community events like parent vs student wiffle ball and the Halloween Party themed Blood Drive in July!  While we have all this fun we learn more about how to be positive, kind, contributing commuity members.

Overwhelming research confirms that character must be taught explicitly by focusing on specific traits.  We do that by teaching attributes like kindness, anti-racism, integrity, respect, and grit through the outstanding curriculum Character Strong in addition to all the fun stuff! Students leave this experience successful, connected with peers, and with a genuine sense of belonging in their community.

Camps are held in Shoreline, WA.  Our Camps are led by certified teachers and supported by high achieving college and high school students.

Discounts are available for siblings as well as multi-week camp attendance. Half-day camping is also available. Payment plans and scholarships may be available on a case by case basis.
